ORF-Enterprise strike stunning Co-Production with Maramedia

SUNNY SIDE OF THE DOC '16:

ORF-Enterprise secured a fabulous collaboration between the Scottish and Austrian filming

industries at this years' Sunny Side of the Doc (La Rochelle)

ORF-Enterprise has secured distribution for "Wild Way of the Vikings". An ambitious blend of blue-chip wildlife and Nordic history, this landmark program shot by some of the world's leading natural history camera talent will feature the most iconic animals of the Arctic and Nordic world as seen for the very first time by the Vikings as they journey to the New World via the legendary islands of Fire and Ice.

The program will be produced by multi award-winning Scottish production company Maramedia, creators of the Ewan McGregor voiced Hebrides and Highlands series, which have been an international success - playing in more than 100 territories across the world. Co-producers are confirmed as France 5, BBC Scotland, WNET and ORF.

NATPE Europe '16:

Considerable Sales reported from Budapest

A volume-TV-package consisting of multiple Universum wildlife and nature highlights has been licensed to the Hungarian public television broadcaster MTVA.


Ceska Televize picked up a selection of high-quality Universum documentaries, amongst them the multi-awarded documentary "Making an Ancient Forest" and the audience's favorites "Vanishing Kings - Lions of the Namib" as well as "Lionsrock - Return of the King".


An extensive deal of ORF-Enterprise's fiction titles has been acquired by the Ukrainian free TV-channel CAT LLC, who will soon enchant its audience with two of ORF's crime classics "Tatort - Borderline" and "My Wife, a Stranger".
