The focus of every story in "Get the Knack!" is the question "how does it actually work?" The aim is to bring about the "Eureka effect" for every viewer as the penny finally drops at the end of each item. Every episode is a grab bag of "Eureka" surprises - nevertheless, there are recurrent themes to which the viewer can look forward. Subjects range from the high-tech to supposedly boring everyday objects. In exciting experiments viewers discover, for example, how to make clouds in a plastic bottle or how to make a piece of soap swim. "Yummy" - Cooking With Kids

The Quest for the Dragon's Chest
The idea behind the game: The wicked sorcerer "Merlox" holds the treasure-guarding dragon «Coolino» (3D computer animation) captive. The dragon can be freed only by two very good friends, and only these can find the treasure he watches over. To arrive at their goal, the candidates must pass seven skill and knowledge based tasks which the cunning Merlox has put in their way. The basic magician's props include wands, treasure chests and secret passages. The two-children teams have the chance to win "dragon dollars" - the more the better: Rather than receiving "fancy bucks" they get thirty-three hard euros for each coin at the end of the game. The children at home can also join in the excitement of the guessing games and cross fingers for the crews. For the studio audience, the game is interactive - even with a chance of winning a proper treasure chest!
