Opening up Iran - A Chance for Business and Human Rights

Iran Öffnung - Chance für Wirtschaft und Menschenrechte

For a decade Iran has been excluded from international trade because of its nuclear policies. With the ending of sanctions in mid-January, the Islamic theocracy has again stepped onto the international trade stage. It remains to be seen whether or not the opening up of the economy will also lead to socio-political change. There are still systematic human rights violations, arbitrary arrests and hundreds of executions every year.
